Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you provide when you use IP Network Tools. In short: we collect as little as possible and do not require an account.

No accounts, no lookup history

You can use every tool without signing up. We do not maintain a per-user history of your lookups. If a tool offers a "recent lookups" convenience, that data is stored only in your browser’s localStorage and never sent to us.

What is processed to provide a result

  • Your IP address. For the "What Is My IP" feature and rate limiting, your connection’s IP is processed transiently. "What Is My IP" responses are marked no-store, and we do not log full IP addresses for analytics.
  • Domains, IPs, and URLs you enter. These are sent to the relevant external service (a DNS resolver, RDAP registry, or the target web server) only to produce your result. We do not build profiles from them.
  • URL query strings. If you paste a URL containing tokens, be aware query strings can hold sensitive data. We avoid logging them and mask/strip them where practical.

External services

Some tools rely on third parties, including public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers and RDAP registries. When you use those tools, your query is sent to the selected provider, subject to their own policies. See Data Sources for the list.

Analytics and advertising

If analytics or advertising are enabled by the operator, they are loaded lazily and configured to avoid receiving your full IP address or the contents of DNS/email records. Advertising, if present, is clearly separated from tool results. You can use every tool with an ad blocker enabled.

The core tools work without cookies. Your theme preference is stored in localStorage. See our Cookies page for details.

Your choices

Because we don’t hold accounts or lookup logs, there is little personal data to access or delete. You can clear browser-stored preferences at any time via your browser settings.
